Press Release

Military "BOGO" Extended

December 23, 2008

Offer extended to meet request by military customers

HONOLULU – Hawaii Superferry has extended the “Buy-One-Get-One” offer to military and their dependents through March 31, 2009. The offer includes a free round trip on the Alakai with the purchase of one round trip fare, and applies to all members of the U.S. Armed Forces, including National Guard members and reservists, available for travel booked through March 31, 2009.

“We still have a great number of our military members deployed from all of the services and both these troops and their families deserve our support. The initial offer received a great response and we were asked to extend it into the spring so more members of our military personnel can take advantage of it,” said Hawaii Superferry Vice President of Sales and Marketing Neil Takekawa. “We are happy to help.” This offer was originally announced on November 20, 2008 and valid through December 15, 2008.

Members of the military and their dependents will receive Hawaii Superferry’s $10 military discount when purchasing the first round trip. Passenger and vehicle fares do not include applicable taxes and fees. The fuel surcharge is waived for these special fares and rates are subject to change.

To redeem this promotion, military must contact their respective MWR/ITT Travel Desks.  Hawaii Superferry's ship, the Alakai, seats up to 800 passengers and carries approximately 200 vehicles. Visit http://www.HawaiiSuperferry.com for more information and arrival and departure times.
