Hawaii Superferry Announces $59 Fare

HONOLULU - Hawaii Superferry announces a $59 one-way passenger fare for travel beginning August 5 and through October 31, 2008. One-way vehicle fares during this travel period remain at $65. One-way fares for seniors (62+), children (2-12), and retired and active military personnel, and their dependents, are $49 during this period.  These fares will be available for purchase on August 5.

These new one-way fares do not include applicable taxes and fees, and are subject to approval by the Public Utilities Commission. A fuel surcharge is not applicable to these fares during this period. Peak pricing is applicable on certain days during this period. Rates are subject to change.

The current summer promotional rate of $49 each way is available for bookings made before August 5 for travel through September 30, 2008.

Customers are encouraged to visit http://www.HawaiiSuperferry.com for the latest schedules and fares and to make their reservations online. Customers may also make reservations by calling 1-877-HI-FERRY (877-443-3779) from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. HST, seven days a week.

Hawaii Superferry's vessel, the Alakai, currently seats up to 800 passengers and carries approximately 200 vehicles. The company currently has one roundtrip morning voyage daily between Oahu and Maui and a roundtrip afternoon voyage between Oahu and Maui four days a week operating on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
