Should I use a kennel to transport my pet?
Yes, we recommend that domestic animals travel in IATA-approved customer-supplied travel kennels (e. g. SkyKennel, VariKennel) that retain all domestic animal waste discharge and food and water spillage. Container must be in proper repair and clean and allow animal to stand up and lie down without being cramped and to turn around within it. Customer’s name must be clearly visible on travel kennel. Travel kennels must be carried by the customer to kennel location as per Hawaii Superferry's staff direction.

Can I leave my pet in the vehicle without a kennel?
Dogs are allowed to travel free inside Vehicles at owner’s discretion as long as windows allow adequate ventilation but prevent animal from escaping. All other animals that remain in Vehicles must be contained within appropriate enclosures to ensure they cannot escape or inflict injury to themselves. Domestic animals may also travel in an IATA-approved travel kennel properly secured in an open truck bed.
