Can I bring firearms and ammunition in my vehicle?
Yes, licensed personal firearms (handguns, hunting rifles & shotguns only) and ammunition in amounts for reasonable personal use may be carried within your vehicle provided the firearm is unloaded, the ammunition is secured in a tight container and the firearm and ammunition are located in separate locations within the vehicle.

Do I need to declare my firearms and ammunition?
Yes, you must declare and completely identify the firearm and any ammunition during the check in screening process and is subject to verification of the requirements. Failure to declare any firearm or ammunition will result in denied boarding.

Can I bring my domestic livestock and poultry?
ONLY domestic cattle, horses, donkeys, goats, and sheep, and chickens and roosters, will be allowed to travel on Carrier’s Vessels if accompanied by a HDOA Certificate of Ownership & Movement (HDOA Animal Industry Form DC-44). No swine of any kind are permitted on board, including pigs, pot-bellied pigs, hogs, boars and sows. A DC 44 can be obtained from the port staff on the day of the sail.

What do I need to carry my domestic livestock and poultry in?
Domestic livestock and poultry are required to travel in covered and properly ventilated livestock containers or Vehicles that fully retain all livestock waste discharge and feed/water spillage.
